EGYPT ALI

AUDIO ENGINEER, MUSICIAN

ALUMNI (2017 - 2018 )

Egypt Ali is an accomplished audio engineer and multi-talented musician whose career spans live production, studio recording, and composition. She has collaborated with an impressive roster of artists, including Hans Zimmer, Alice In Chains, Lauryn Hill and the Fugees, Pearl Jam, Luke Combs, and X Ambassadors.

In the studio, Egypt’s expertise shines as a session musician on numerous R&B records and as a composer for film projects. Her dedication to music and performance has also taken her to iconic stages such as Carnegie Hall and Coachella. Egypt gained valuable industry experience during her time at Camp Electric, where her passion for music was further cultivated.

In 2024, Egypt was selected as a GrammyU mentor by the Recording Academy, a testament to her exceptional talent and mentorship abilities in guiding young musicians. With a deep understanding of both technical and creative aspects, Egypt Ali continues to push boundaries in the music and entertainment industries.

TOMMY GERLACH

TOURING MUSICIAN / STUDIO MUSICIAN - INSTRUCTOR / WRITER

Tommy Gerlach's journey with Camp Electric has come full circle—from student to instructor and beyond. A Nashville-based guitarist, Tommy writes, records, and tours across the U.S., performing live and captivating audiences. His viral videos, with millions of views on social media, showcase his talent.

Drawing inspiration from guitarists like Mateus Asato, Isaiah Sharkey, Julian Lage, John Mayer, and Cory Wong, Tommy brings versatility to his work with artists across genres, including Coby James, Stars Go Dim, Savannah Rae, Madeline Consoer, Joel Vaughan, Grace Graber, Rachael Nemiroff, Joe Hanson, and Brooke Robertson. Known for his melodic playing, deep music theory knowledge, intricate chord arrangements, and blazing solos, Tommy has also authored Amateur to Pro: A 30-Day Guitar Workbook. JIMMY HEALEY

TOUR / PRODUCTION MANAGER

Jimmy Healey is an accomplished Manager and Production Manager, currently working with country music star Carly Pearce. With a rich background in both Christian and Country music, Jimmy has collaborated with prominent artists such as Lauren Daigle, showcasing his expertise in the industry. His journey in music began as a student at Camp Electric, and he has come full circle by now leading and managing all the production needs for the camp. Jimmy's dedication and experience make him a key figure in both the live music and production realms.

COBY JAMES

ARTIST / PRODUCER

At only 22 years old, Coby James is already recognized as a powerful young force in Christian Music. The prodigious songwriter, singer, guitarist, and producer has begun to make his mark as a former Centricity Music Artist and now as an independent artist in his own right. To date, James has notched a No. 1 song on Billboard’s Christian Hot AC/CHR chart as a contributing writer on Courtnie Ramirez’s track, “Who We Are,” and he’s scored a Top 5 hit on the same chart with “Born Ready,” a song on which he serves as the lead artist, co-writer and co-producer. Along with his own music, Coby is part of the NCS Coaching Team and participates in the writing, producing, and Artist Development programs offered by NCS.

ARTIST

Former Camp Electric alumni—ELI GABLE is an Ohio-born singer-songwriter based in Nashville, TN. His music is a mix of the influences he grew up on, including worship, folk, and rock. ELI has been releasing music and developing his sound as an artist since he moved to the Music City in 2020. He’s in constant pursuit of art that connects life with honesty, and faith with curiosity. CECILY HENNIGAN

ALUMNI (2019 - 2021)

Cecily is a songwriter and artist from South Carolina who moved to Nashville at 18. Within just a few months of arriving, she signed with Essential Music Publishing. With a background in pop, R&B, indie, CCM, and worship, Cecily has collaborated with top artists and writers in the industry, including Madison Ryann Ward, Maverick City Worship, Housefires, DOE, Blessing Offor, Bethel Music, Ryan Ellis, SEU Worship, David Spencer (Neoni), Paul Mabury (Lauren Daigle), Jacob Sooter (Brandon Lake), Aaron Robertson (Elevation Worship), and Ricky Jackson (Phil Wickham).

Since signing with Essential, Cecily has achieved significant success, including contributing to Madison Ryann Ward’s 2023 single “GO BACK” and two tracks on Housefires’ latest LP: “Lean on the Lord” (with Ryan Ellis) and “I’m Not Going Anywhere.”

Jordy released a self-titled album in March of 2013, and spent the next months growing his fanbase along the Gulf Coast, Nashville, Alabama, and Texas. Since the airing of his audition on The Voice in September of 2014, his online presence and regional fan base has grown immensely.

After so many years at camp, the relationships I had created with established industry professionals started to lead to professional opportunities that allowed me to kickstart my own career. In the Spring of 2018, I put my name in the running for a guitar position on a CCM tour. This was my first true audition process with an established Nashville-based artist, and led me down a path that can only be explained by the Lord opening up door after door for me. One thing I have learned in my career so far is that hard work and a willingness to learn can open up just as many opportunities that any level of professional training or qualification can, which is something that continued to prove itself to me as my next gig offer presented itself.
